First series ni Christian Bautista sa GMA ang With A Smile, where he played Aston. We caught up with the singer-actor, who shared with us his experiences throughout the series.

How does Christian feel ngayong mag-eend na ang morning series na kinabilangan niay for the past three months?

“It’s bittersweet because we had a good run and new friendships were formed. It’s also my first soap in GMA so it’s sad that it’s ending pero looking back, it was a good experience for me, working with Direk Louie [Ignacio] kasi nahasa ‘yung acting ko,” aniya.

What is the best thing about being part of the series? May experiences ba siya sa show na talagang tumatak sa kanya?

“Nagulat ‘yung mga tao. Nanibago sila in a good way. ‘Yung mga fans ko dati, natuwa na nakita nila ako on TV again. I had a good time. I always look forward to going to the set kasi relaxed lang ‘yung mga tao. It had the right kind of pressure, and there were crazy things that happened pero sa amin na lang ‘yun,” natatawang paglalahad ni Christian.

Ano naman kaya ang pinaka mamimiss niya sa palabas?

“I’ll miss the people, the role, si Aston fighting with Dean, the girls fighting over me [in the series], my director and the kids, masaya silang kasama. I’ll also miss the food, kasi laging may kainan. Meron kaming “Potluck Friday”, so we always bring our food every Friday,” aniya.

Para sa fans ng show, ihinatid niya ang mensaheng into: “Thank you for being with us, following our stories, and ang pinakaimportante, sana may natutunan kayo sa mga pinortray namin at ipinakita namin. Thank you for everything.”
