'To Have And To Hold' star Luis Hontiveros reminds everyone to take care one's physical and mental health amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
If there's one message that Kapuso hunk Luis Hontiveros wants the public to learn about his sexy photos on Instagram is that they should prioritize their physical and mental well-being amid the crazy pandemic.
Luis was asked by GMA News Online yesterday (September 21) during the virtual media conference of his brand-new soap To Have And To Hold if his thirst trap photos on social media was in preparation for his character Daryl.
Luis clarified that it was more of making sure that he takes care of his body amid the stress brought about by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
He shared to the press, “For this role (Daryl), I guess ang pinaka-preparation ko talaga is 'yung more on the craft side, for the character. Yung physical na nakita natin online, I guess lifestyle na lang din, especially at a time like this sa pandemic tayo.”
“It's always, always very important na alagaan natin 'yung sarili natin starting from our physical appearance and then also it carries on to our mental health, spiritual health,” he added.
Luis will be paired in this highly-anticipated primetime show with StarStruck alumna Athena Madrid.
Doing this project, he only has kind words for their director Don Michael Perez for guiding them throughout their lock-in taping in Bataan.
In an exclusive interview with GMA Network.com, he remembered his fondest memories working with the brilliant Direk Don.
“He makes the job easier, basically, kung may struggle ako, kung may questions ako, if I want to clarify something about my scene or scenes, very willingly and open niya sasagutin 'yung mga tanong, which I very much appreciate. Kasi baguhang aktor at aktres pa lang kami ni Athena, so we need all the help we can get and we need all the learnings, we welcome that.”
