Valerie Concepcion took to Instagram to announce her engagement to non-showbiz boyfriend, Francis Sunga.

While at the Ika-5 Utos media conference, Valerie admitted that it has always been her dream to get married at a young age.

"Sobrang happy ako. 23 years old pa lang ako, dini-dream ko na ikasal kasi my parents got married when my mom was 25 so I was hoping to get married ng 25 years old rin ako. Now I'm 30, finally may nabingwit din ako," she shared.

She also spilled a few details about their upcoming ceremony, "Supposedly, December, mag-si-civil wedding kami pero dahil sa Ika-5 Utos, we found out kasi na 'pag mag-fi-fiance visa, I have to stay there for three months daw so I can't do that. So ngayon we're gonna wait for the show to finish para mag-civil wedding kami or isahang bagsakan na lang na church wedding."

A member of the press asked Valerie about her backup plan if Ika-5 Utos gets extended for up to a year just like its predecessor Ika-6 na Utos did.

"Kapag ganoon ang nangyari, ang usapan na namin na for sure pinaka-last na [deadline] namin is January 2020 dapat ikasal na kami," said Valerie.
