The Queen of Creative Collaborations, Heart Evangelista, recently did a rundown of her closet favorites in her latest vlog.

The Kapuso star showed her most prized fashion pieces, from expensive accessories to her luxury bags, including one of her favorite brands, Hermès.

As expected, her Hermès Himalayan Birkin 25 made it to the list of her faves, as it cost her an arm and leg to acquire the said luxury fashion piece. She considers it an investment piece.

She also showed two gorgeous personalized Judith Leiber clutches. The ID bags contain Heart's two identities: Love Marie (her real name) and Heart (her screen name).

Also included in Heart's closet faves is the tiny but lovely white Ulyana Sergeenko rose bag, which she used for the SONA.

But what stole the show in her closet faves vlog is Heart's first-ever Hermès Birkin bag, that has a really interesting backstory.

“The bag that started it all for me is this Birkin right here,” Heart said as she showed her blue Hermès Birkin.

She continued, “So, I've always wanted an Hermès Birkin and an Hermès Kelly ever since I was young because I saw my mom wearing one.

“But my dad never really liked it on me because it looked a little bit older, they said.”

Heart also mentioned that she saw Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan carrying one, that's why she wanted one for herself.

She then explained why her first-ever Hermès Birkin bag is so dear to her.

“This was actually a gift from my dad, I was 22, 23.

“The reason why I remember this bag is first, it was my very, very first one. Second was my dad and I had a really, really bad fight and we haven't spoken for a really, really long time.

“And when I finally made peace with my family, this was the bag that he gave me. Talking about bribing me... (laughs) … to leave my life!

Heart then mused about that time in her life and her dad Rey Ongpauco's unique way of giving peace offerings.

“Although I was still sad about leaving my old life--and my freedom at the time--he had a really funny way of doing things. And yeah, he gave me a bag. So, I'll never, ever forget this.”

Heart said her first-ever Hermès Birkin bag almost got destroyed before and she had to have it fixed.

“I remember this same bag, I had to get fixed. I was young and I didn't know how to take care of my bags. It was full of molds and it was almost destroyed. So, I had it fixed.”

She also said she had thought about painting on it, just like what's she's done to her other luxury bags, but ended up not doing it.

“I was very tempted to paint on it, but the memory was just too beautiful and too funny, that I just wanted to keep it as is, so yeah.”
