Former UAAP courtside reporter Laura Lehmann is the successor of Catriona Gray as the mestiza beauty bagged the crown at the recently concluded Miss World Philippines held at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

And the new queen made sure to thank the people behind her success, especially the brilliant designer who created her impeccable scarlet evening gown she wore during the competition.

Laura took to Instagram today, September 4, to express her heartfelt appreciation to Mark Bumgarner for creating her winning look.

She posted, “The most beautiful dress I have ever worn. :) I was so lucky to have @markbumgarner. :) ? Besides designing my dress, he was always there to take care of me and to remind me to "feel" my gown - to make sure it wasn't just a dress but rather a part of me when I walked. He also told me that the real secret was just to have fun - as everyone should. :)”
