Here’s what they have to say: Akihiro Sato: “ I joined Survivor because I want to believe in myself and just have fun. I want to show the audience the true me. I don’t care about the game or what people will think about me. I care about this, the heart. Everyone is coming to me saying ‘if you will not win in Survivor, at least you showed the people right things. So my point from the very beginning is to show the people that we can play this game, like a clean fight. You don't need to be the same with the other Survivor seasons or shows before because this edition is a celebrity showdown, so let's make it something different for the people to watch and learn something good.” Aubrey Miles: “Ako ang na-proved ko sa sarili ko is that I am a team player. Siguro naisip ninyo dirty player ako pero part yun ng show na ito. Ang nature ng game is to lie, to betray. Dito kasi very sensitive ang mga tao. Kung napanood lang nila ang U.S version which is dun talaga nanggaling ang Survivor, maiintindihan nila ako. Hindi kasi nila naiintindihan yung game, hindi mo sila mabe-blame kasi hindi naman lahat fan ng Survivor. “Gusto ko lang gawin ito dahil as a mother I would do anything for my child. This is my chance to have a brand new life with my kid. If they give me a chance to be with kid everyday. Araw ng araw ng buhay ko, pasasalamatan ko kayo.” Ervic Vijandre: Masaya ako naging part ako ng show. Ngayon sobrang saya ko dahil naging part ako ng finale. Isa ako sa top 4 ng show na to, so proud ako sa sarili ko, sobrang saya ako na nakasama ko sila. Naging strategy ko na maging invisible sa umpisa. Sa merge ako nagpakitang gilas. “Feeling ko, may nagalit sa akin [sa members ng jury] pero hindi naman siguro nila ito gagawing dahilan para piliin nila ang dapat talagang manalo. Iba-iba kasi ang ginawa naming larong apat, e. Kung sino sa palagay nila ang may pinakamagaling na game plan, yun ang piliin nila." Solenn Heussaff: “I think I deserve to win, and we all deserve to win but I think I played the game well, but the thing is when I’m watching Survivor right now, the whole show they always say na ‘Solenn doesn’t need the money mayaman na siya’.
