Chito Miranda's family

'Parokya ni Edgar' vocalist Chito Miranda talked about the importance of visiting the City of Pines with his son, Miggy.

With the COVID-19 pandemic causing massive disruption especially in the tourism sector, heading to places like Baguio has become a luxury for some.

The City of Pines accepted 1,760,729 tourists in 2018, but with the ongoing problem with the highly-contagious coronavirus in the past year, the numbers have dropped as many were discouraged from traveling.

That's why Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda relishes the experience of being able to bring his family to a popular summer destination.

In his Instagram, Daddy Chito candidly talked about visiting Baguio during the pandemic.

He posted, “Salamat, Baguio.

Although they were there for just a few days, the OPM icon was ecstatic that he got to experience the sights and sounds of Baguio City with his firstborn Miggy.

In a couple of months, Chito's family will have a new member since his wife Neri Naig is pregnant.

The couple tied the knot in 2014 and Neri gave birth to Alfonso on November 23, 2016.
