Rona Tai gets candid about her cosmetic procedure done by popular plastic surgeon Doc Yappy.
New Year, new me. That seems to be the mantra of Rona Samson Tai, the wife of former It's Showtime host Eric Tai a.k.a Eruption after revealing to the public that she undergone a cosmetic procedure with the help celebrity plastic surgeon Doc Yappy.
Doc Yappy or Dr. Eric Yapjuangco is one of the talents of Status by Sparkle, the digital arm of Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
In a short video on Instagram, Rona shared a before and after result of her procedure. She then explained why she decided to go under the knife.
“I did the work. The discipline. The sacrifice. The choosing myself… again and again.
“But there were things no amount of effort could fix. The weight I lost left behind reminders my body couldn't erase on its own.” Eric's wife noted.
Rona expressed her appreciation for Doc Yappy for helping her achieve her body goals. She also stressed that this cosmetic enhancement is not about 'vanity' at all.
“He didn't change my story, he honored it. He lifted what time, gravity, and struggle left behind.
“A full 360 body lift, not to create a new me, but to finally reveal the one I worked so hard to become.”
“This isn't about vanity. This is about closure. This is about wholeness. This is about stepping into the body that finally matches my strength.”
Eric married Rona on March 6, 2015 in Quezon City
