StarStruck alumna Nathalie Hart openly discussed her decision to change her screen name in her interview with the podcast Think Talk Tea.
Nathalie, who joined StarStruck season five (2010), was first known as Princess Tinkerbell Snell. In this season, Sarah Lahbati and Steven Silva were hailed as Ultimate Female and Male Survivor, respectively.
According to Nathalie, it was her manager, Leo Dominguez, who thought of changing her stage name.
“My name was Princess Snell. That's my real name in my passport,” the actress said.
“Princess talaga name ko sa passport ko. Parang, I think 23-years-old nagbalik showbiz, we were talking about it. I was 22 years old trying to go back to showbiz. 'Tapos, parang sabi nila, 'Sige, gawin ko next year, whatever'
“And then, I had a manager, Tito Leo [Dominguez], who passed away, sabi niya sa akin, 'I don't like your name. It doesn't suit you, I want you to do mature roles na ayaw ko na pabebe ka na.' And then we decided, Nathalie suits me in terms of my face and we just went for that name 'yun na lang.”
