
Will Ashley is full of gratitude after receiving his latest acting recognition.
The Sparkle star was named Best Supporting Actor for his remarkable role as Arvin Asuncion in the MMFF 2025 film Bar Boys: After School in the 9th EDDYs. Singer-actor Rico Blanco also bagged the same award for his role in the movie, Manila's Finest.
In an Instagram post, the Sparkle actor shared photos of him holding his trophy and thanked everyone who believed in him.
“For BarBoys, for everyone who believed, thank you!” he wrote.
During the 9th EDDYs, Will expressed his gratitude to the entire team of Bar Boys: After School and to everyone who supported him.
“Gusto kong pasalamatan lahat po ng bumubuo ng EDDYs, maraming salamat po sa parangal po na ito. Salamat din po sa lahat ng bumubuo ng Bar Boys: After School. Siyempre, kay Direk Kip, sa 901 Studios, kay Direk Carlo, Direk Zig, maraming, maraming salamat. Sa lahat ng co-actors ko, thank you so much. And, of course, to my fellow nominees, congratulations din po sa inyo.
“Sa lahat ng nagmamahal at sumusuporta sa akin and to my GMA family, thank you so much. Mabuhay po ang pelikulang Pilipino,” he said.
Will Ashley is set to star in the upcoming Kapuso series, Delivery Boi. He will be joined by seasoned actors Eric Quizon, Keempee De Leon, Meryll Soriano, and Maricar De Mesa in the series.
Completing the powerhouse cast of Delivery Boi are Yasser Marta, Vince Maristela, Mikoy Morales, Angellie Sanoy, Juharra Asayo, Baninay Bautista.
