
In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, The Secrets of Hotel 88 star Will Ashley shared his gratitude and joy for the various honors and awards he has received.
Will has garnered numerous acting accolades starting from 2025 through the first two months of 2026.
According to him, he is thrilled to see his long years of hard work in the industry finally bearing fruit.
“Nakakatuwa. After 12 years na pagtatrabaho, finally ngayon paunti-unti na talaga siyang namumunga,” Will shared.
Will further stated that the awards he has recently received serve as a driving force, motivating him to work even harder and further excel in his chosen field.
“Mas nakakagana talaga mag-work pa lalo and mas galingan pa lalo sa ginagawa ko dito sa industriya,” he said.
Will also holds a strong hope that the blessings and opportunities coming his way, particularly in his career, will continue steadily.
He further shared that he has long been praying to reach this milestone in his entire journey as an actor.
“Hopefully, magtuloy-tuloy po talaga 'yung blessings na pumasok, and opportunities, kasi I've been praying for this talaga my whole journey dito sa industry,” said Will.
Despite the string of projects and film performances he had last year, Will also shared exclusively with GMANetwork.com the specific role he still hopes to portray in his future projects.
“Hindi ko pa nagagawa is 'yung straight action na regular kong gagawin. Horror, nakagawa na ko ng horror. Pero gusto ko talaga super hero gano'n,” Will shared.
In 2025, Will Ashley earned a "Best Supporting Actor" nomination at the Metro Manila Film Festival for his performances in Love You So Bad and Bar Boys: After School. He was recognized “Best Supporting Actor” at Manila Film Critics Circle Awards for his role in Balota. He was also recognized as the top honorary inductee in Tag Media Chicago's Tag 25 Under 25.
Furthermore, he also received awards from the PMPC Star Awards for Movies and the Anak TV Seal Awards. Most recently, he was named "Best Actor" at the 11th Platinum Stallion National Media Awards for his portrayal of "Arvin Asuncion" in Bar Boys: After School.
