Sparkle actor Jak Roberto recently achieved a new milestone.

Aside from the success of his afternoon soap My Father's Wife with Gabby Concepcion, Kylie Padilla, and Kazel Kinouchi, he also shared that his resto and KTV business D'Crib Sizzling House in Tomas Morato, Quezon City in on soft opening last week.

This an exciting moment for the Kapuso actor because aside from D'Crib, he is also the proud owner of the men's skincare brand JC Essentials.

With this new business venture, is Jak planning to leave show business for good and just focus on running his businesses instead?

In a quick chat with GMANetwork.com, the Sparkle hunk reiterated that he has no plans of retiring at all.

“Of course, siyempre passion ko talaga is to act, to perform. 'Yung businesses naman natin, hanggang meron pang opportunity or habang bata ka pa, you have to try it na e. Para habang maaga, nakukuha mo na 'yung success and 'yung failure. Nakikita mo na in the future kung ano pa 'yung puwede mo gawing businesses.”

He continued, “So sa akin kasi, habang ngayon na malakas pa tayo, may opportunity pa, gusto ko nang i-try na talaga pumasok sa business, kasi hindi naman lagi may work tayo sa showbiz.”

“Though nag-e-enjoy ako doing this, itong My Father's Wife, parang talagang 'pag nag-commit ako sa isang project. 'Yun nga 'pag na-appreciate ng tao 'yung craft namin, sobrang iba 'yung pakiramdam, nakaka-addict kumbaga, gusto mo laging gawin.

"Hindi pa rin ako magbibitaw sa showbiz, isa pa rin 'to sa pinaka-priority ko. Pero isa sa kina-career ko rin ngayon and dini-discover is 'yung sa mga business.”

Jak also discussed what he learned running D'Crib Sizzling House for these past few days.

“When it comes to inventory, 'yan, 'yung mga stocks mo. Like alcoholic beverages, food, siyempre hindi puwede ma-stock nang matagal 'yan dahil may expiration. 'Yung quality ng service. 'Yung sa KTV, 'yung mga system kung gumagana ba. Of course, 'yung pinaka-challenge dun is 'yung maging word of mouth na. Mina-market namin siya, pero mas iba pa rin 'yung ma-experience n'yo na pumunta doon at kayo mismo 'yung parang mag-invite ng mga friends n'yo ganun.”
