Kai Sotto's main goal is to be the first full-blooded Filipino basketball player to join the National Basketball Association (NBA) of the United States.
Kai deeply aims to get his name called in one of the brightest stages in the world of basketball.
The 20-year-old player is one of two players who went to Indiana on Tuesday, June 21, for the Pacers' 13th and final pre-draft workout.
He is hoping to prove that his game is NBA-ready to teams such as Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic, and many more.
In an interview, he said, “It means so much to me and to my fellow Filipinos… The biggest goal for me is to make it to the NBA.”
“When I look at the bigger picture, I want to make it to the NBA to serve as an example and inspiration to the younger players, younger athletes back home in the Philippines. If they can say that if Kai can make it, so can I, that's a dream come true, Kai added.”
