Nagtulung-tulong ang mga Kapuso star na ayudahan ang mga pamilyang labis na naapektuhan ng 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) crisis sa bansa.

Ilan sa kanila ang mga nagkawanggawa mula sa sariling inisyatibo gaya nina Wowowin host Willie Revillame at Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista.

Mayroon din namang nakiisa sa mga relief operation ng GMA Kapuso Foundation gaya nina Kapuso artists Ashley Ortega, Myrtle Sarrosa, Martin del Rosario, Anthony Rosaldo, Radson Flores, Lexi Fernandez, at Anna Vicente.

Nag-donate rin si Willie ng isang milyong piso sa “Operation Bayanihan: Labanan ang COVID-19” ng GMA Kapuso Foundation.

“Ito na 'yung panahong talagang magsama-sama't tumulong tayo. At maraming mga kababayan natin na talagang nangangailangan ng tulong,” pahayag ng host.

Nauna na ring nagpahatid si Heart ng mga sako ng bigas at de lata sa Kapuso Foundation na agad namang naipamigay sa Payatas, Quezon City.

Bukod dito, sinisikap din ng aktres na personal na tulungan ang kanyang followers sa social media.

Seeing what's happening in the world is heartbreaking and I know we all feel a little helpless because we are confined in our homes. Samantala, ang malilikom na donasyon ng Kapuso Foundation ay ipambibili ng mga protective equipment para sa mga hospital frontliner at grocery packs para sa mga pamilyang nangangailangan.

Para sa mga nais mag donate online, maaring bisitahin lamang ang website ng Kapuso Foundation. Maari rin mag-donate sa pamamagitan ng Cebuana Lhuillier sa lahat ng branches nationwide.
