New Normal The Survival Guide Newsmakers

Winnie Monsod gets a quick interview with viral internet celebrities Aling Nena and Miss Everything.

New Normal: The Survival Guide series Newsmakers host Winnie Monsod is in for a fun challenge as she meets viral internet stars Aling Nena and Miss Everything.

"Dalawa sila sa pinaka sikat na online celebrity ngayon. Ang kanilang mga video, mga nakakatuwang pagsilip sa ordinaryong buhay ng mga Pilipino," she says as she introduces her guests.

Winnie Monsod Rico Bautista and Jerick Camata

Aling Nena is Rico Bautista in real life and is a public school teacher.

He says his skits are inspired by everyday life in their community.

"Nag-start lang po ako ma'am noong march, noong ECQ (enhanced community quarantine). Lumitaw lang po 'yung 'Aling Nena' noong nagka ECQ. Napaka tipikal na pangyayri sa community namin. Pero ang twist lang po sa kwento, medyo katatawanan 'yung pinaka ending po," Rico shares.

Meanwhile, Miss Everything or Jerick Camata rose to fame because of how she butchers the English language every time she speaks in her videos.

Tita Winnie marveled at the fact that Jerick's mother is actually an English teacher.

"She is correcting me what I can say and what is the way that I can. But she's proudly that very wonderful to talkative," Jerick says.

Watch Mareng Winnie act out scenes with Aling Nena and have an English showdown with Miss Everything in the video above from the New Normal: The Survival Guide series Newsmakers.
