Winwyn Marquez explains why she won't be joining any pageants soon.
Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez answered the question of most of her fans who are interested in knowing if the former beauty queen is eyeing any crown in the near future.
The question was asked during the promotion of her movie Time and Again on Netflix.
Winwyn replied, “ To be honest, ang sarap isipin na ire-represent mo 'yung country mo on stage again.
“Pero kung Miss World ang pag-uusapan natin, I am overage already cause I'm 28 years old.
“Sa ngayon, wala talaga sa isip ko [na sumali] kasi may pandemic and my mind is not really there.”
She explains that her focus is directed at keeping her family safe and finishing her training as a military reservist.
Winwyn added, “Pero, we'll see! Kasi I know that Miss World has new crowns but my mind is just not there.
“I don't think it's a priority for me to think about it. I don't think it's the right time to talk about that. Antay na lang tayo kung anong mangyayari.
“Right now my focus is 'yung training as a military reservist and my family.
“Thankful ako sa mga taong may vibes na mananalo ako since 2015. Hanggang ngayon they're still supporting me.”
