Winwyn Marquez and Baby Luna


Winwyn was recently recognized as the best actress at an international film festival.

Winwyn Marquez said she believes that her daughter, baby Luna, is indeed her lucky charm, following her recent acting recognition.

“[G]rabe lang ang timing ni God sa lahat. I truly feel HE gave me a lucky charm and si Luna yun,” she mused in an Instagram post.

The Kapuso actress shared that she won 'Best Actress in a Feature Film' at the International Film Festival Manhattan for her movie, Nelia.

“Our movie Nelia means so much to me and to be recognized as an actress is a dream come true,” Winwyn said.

Winwyn then shared some of her career milestones, which all coincidentally involved baby Luna.

The actress said she was almost six months pregnant when she announced her pregnancy during the grand press conference of Nelia.

The movie was her first title role and an official entry to the 2021 Metro Manila Film Festival.

Meanwhile, Winwyn said she was given the opportunity to work with award-winning actors in the movie, Ligalig, four months after Luna's birth.

And finally, she highlighted how she clinched her first acting award now that Luna is almost six months old.

Winwyn gave birth to Luna on May 1 of this year.
