Filipina beauty queen Winwyn Marquez has aire her frustration, alongside many celebrities and personalities, on the recently concluded Miss Universe 2025 coronation held on Friday, November 21.
“Sakit talaga ng ulo ko,” Winwyn wrote on Friday. “Hindi ko alam kung kailan ako makaka-move on sa nangyari today..sooo damay-damay tayo sa migraine.”
In the same post, Winwyn reflected on the true meaning of impact.
“Pero REAL TALK...at the end of the day, we don't need a crown or a title to make a difference and to make an impact,” she said.
Winwyn also recognized the “powerful words” of Olivia Yace from Cote d'Ivoire at the question and answer portion of the pageant, where she said, “Go in those rooms where you think you don't belong. shine and make sure you assume your identity.”
“Tama ka,” Winwyn told Olivia on her post. “Sometimes the bravest thing we can do is step into a space and fully own who we are."
Olivia Yace of Cote d'Ivoire placed fourth runner up, followed by Miss Universe Philippines Ahtisa Manalo at third runner up, then Stephany Abasali of Venezuela at second runner up, and Praveenar Singh of Thailand at first runner up.
Fatima Bosch of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2025.
