Winwyn Marquez was even voted as class president of her batch.

Winwyn Marquez officially started her training as a military reservist of the Philippine Navy on Saturday, August 1.

On Instagram, the Glow Up host shared photos of her first day and announced that she was voted to become the president of her batch.

“BCMC Class 01 2020 - Class President, Marquez. Hooyah!! #PhNavyReserveForce

“Congrats sa lahat! Class 01 let's do this!

“A strict protocol was followed and everyone was required to do a rapid test before anything else,” she wrote.

In the comments, an outpour of support was given by fans and friends including Thia Thomalla and Rocco Nacino's girlfriend, Melissa Gohing.

Melissa wrote, “Nice one, Wyn.”

To which she replied, “@gohingmelissa thank you sa pagpunta kanina!”

On February 18, 2020, Winwyn announced to her fans that she had enrolled herself in Basic Citizens Military Training.

At the time she wrote, “People are asking me why I want to do this… I simply said because I want to… that's it.

“No need for long explanations. We don't need to justify what we want to do, we can just show them what a woman can do.

“So thrilled to be joining the Basic Citizens Military Training Batch 2020.”

During her enrollment, she was welcomed by Philippine Navy reservist officer Rocco Nacino.
