According to the famous designer, Wyn is not "beauty queen" material.

The Half Sisters actress Wynwyn Marquez broke her silence regarding the comments made by fashion designer Rene Salud that she's not beauty queen material. Salud said in an interview with an entertainment website last week that the Kapuso actress should focus on her showbiz career instead of joining beauty pageants.
Winwyn is the niece of Miss International 1979 titlist Melanie Marquez, and the daughter of showbiz legends Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez.
The Kapuso star posted on Twitter to address the issue last July 22. According to Winwyn, she respects other people's opinions about her, but she's still happy and proud that she joined Binibining Pilipinas this year.
