Wyn is elated at this new recognition.

Kapuso performer Wyn Marquez has finally gotten her much-deserved crown, not from Binibining Pilipinas, but from her alma mater.

Last week, San Beda College-Alabang recognized the dancer-actress for her extraordinary efforts in the national beauty pageant. She was bestowed with the St. Benedict of Nursia for Leadership and Excellence Award, after the school’s patron saint.
 
“Thank you San Beda College Alabang for recognizing me… Salamat sa surprise niyo… Thank you for giving me the St. Benedict of Nursia for Leadership and Excellence Award…,” she wrote in her Instagram account.

Aside from a plaque and token, she was also given a crown to recognize her feat in Binibining Pilipinas.
 
“Thank you for giving me a crown… Nakakataba ng puso sobra… Sobrang saya ko! I am a proud Bedan,” she added.

Wyn’s hometown, Parañaque, also named her an Ambassadress of Goodwill.
 
“Salamat po Mayor Edwin Olivarez and sa lahat ng officials. Maraming maraming salamat po sa pag-appoint sa akin,” she said.
