After confirming to the public the heartbreaking news that his maternal grandmother, Leonida Malatag Cruz has cancer, Xian Lim and his family received an outpouring of love and support from a lot of people.

The TV/movie actor took to Instagram once again to express his appreciation for everyone who showed their concern for his lola in her bout with breast cancer.

Xian wrote, “Thank you to everyone that expressed their concern and included my grandmother in their prayers. She's doing a lot better now. Also, she really doesn't like staying in one spot. She likes moving around, turning up her radio in full blast and doing crossword puzzles.”

He also captured on camera a tender moment between his lola and his mother Mary Anne, which melted his heart.

“I saw this earlier and it melted my heart.

"Your parents will take care of you until you are able to be on your own until one day, it will be your turn to return the favor.

"This is a simple gesture of saying thank you for bringing me in this world. This is what we are accustomed to.

“@mommymaryanne in the picture is making sure lola is okay and telling her to keep still while showing her funny videos on her phone. I witnessed her routine today. She is really a super mom.”

Xian ended his heartwarming Instagram post with a simple reminder to his followers.
