'False Positive' star Xian Lim cracked a joke as oil prices spiked: "'Pag nagmamahal ako, ang daming taong nagagalit. - Gasolina."
On Tuesday, March 8, motorists, including celebrities like Xian Lim, braced themselves for the massive price hike on petroleum products.
The False Positive lead actor took to his Instagram account to air his sentiments as crude oil prices continue to blow up.
Instead of complaining about the record-breaking energy pricing in the market, Xian made a witty remark as he shows he is pumping his big bike with fuel, coming up with a homophonic pun.
"Wala ba akong karapatan magmahal?! Ang dami-dami n'yong sinasabi. Ayoko na. 'Pag nagmamahal ako, ang daming taong nagagalit. - Gasolina," wrote Xian.
A motorcycle enthusiast, Xian said he sets aside long rides for the meantime.
"Pass muna sa long rides. Kape-kape muna sa kanto," he added.
Xian is a fan of road trips.
Just recently, he rode for about 500 kilometers on his Ducati Multistrada going to Sagada in a span of two days.
According to Xian, riding a bike is a life-changing journey, giving him a whole new perspective.
Even during his taping for the upcoming GMA series False Positive, he showcased his love for big bikes as he rode some of his precious bikes for his scenes in the romantic comedy.
