This Friday, January 13, the Kapuso network will be at The Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu for a “Kapuso Mall Show” at 4 p.m. No less than
Legacy cast member Lovi Poe, and Mark Herras of
Hiram Na Puso will be there to entertain the audience and invite them to watch out for the upcoming television premiere of their respective shows. Joining them to serenade viewers are
Party Pilipinas mainstays Jay-R, Rachelle Ann Go, Isabel Oli and Steven Silva.
Legacy and
Hiram Na Puso--two of GMA’s original drama series for the first quarter of 2012--are set to mark another milestone in the local entertainment scene.
Legacy will premiere on January 16 on GMA Telebabad while
Hiram Na Puso will begin airing its pilot episode on GMA Afternoon Prime on March 5.
On Saturday (January 14), 4 p.m., expect a different vibe as multi-awarded actress Claudine Barretto together with
Survivor Philippines castaways Stef Prescott, Chuckie Dreyfus, John Odulio, Mara Yokohama, Betong Sumaya and Maey Bautista,
Legacy’s Solenn Heussaff,
Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit’s Michelle Madrigal,
Kokak’s TJ Trinidad, and Kapuso artists Ehra Madrigal and Bubbles Paraiso amplify the Sinulog fever at the “Kapuso Night” happening in SM City Cebu’s V-Hire. Joining them as event host is
Party Pilipinas’ Isabelle Daza.
Claudine, Ehra, Michelle and Bubbles will also join the Kapuso float in the Grand Sinulog Parade the following day, 8am. Viewers can also tune in to GMA Chl 7 (free TV) or GMA Chl 8 (SkyCable) from 8:30 am onwards for a special live parade coverage. It will be hosted by GMA Cebu's news personalities with the
Survivor castaways.
“Sinulog Festival has always been a big gathering of Filipinos from around the world to pay homage to the Sto. Nino. For our part, we in GMA Regional TV will continue to encourage our Kapusos from all parts of the country to take pride in this festival and showcase the best of Cebu through our TV programs,” says Oliver Amoroso, Assistant Vice President for GMA Regional TV.
“The events that we have lined up for all our Kapusong Cebuanos are just simply there as bonus for making GMA the country’s No.1 TV Network today,” Amoroso added.
The highlights of the Sinulog Festival can also be seen in a TV special airing via GMA Network’s eight (8) regional stations--Naga, Dagupan, Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and General Santos on February 5.
