Yasmien Kurdi also shares that GMA has helped her reach for her dreams.

Yasmien Kurdi has built a lifelong career on GMA since being part of the first season of StarStruck in 2003.

That's why for her anniversary message for GMA Network as it celebrates its 70th year, the Kapuso actress likened the network as her family and as her home.

When asked what makes her a proud Kapuso all these years, she tells GMANetwork.com, “Lahat kasi mababait sa akin. They treat us like family and I feel at home.

“Kaya 'yung proudest Kapuso moment ko is nung nakagraduate ako ng kolehiyo. Ayun, sobrang proud ako nun kasi kung hindi din dahil sa GMA, hindi ko mararating 'yung mga pangarap ko sa buhay.”

Since landing the title of First Princess in StarStruck Season 1, Yasmien has since then cemented her place in the network by playing notable roles like Mira in Encantadia, Salve Dizon de Leon in the remake of Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita, and Shayne Rodrigo in the hit remake Saan Darating Ang Umaga?, a role originally played by Maricel Soriano.

In 2019, she graduated Magna cum Laude from Arellano University with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
