Kapuso actress Yasmien Kurdi has always enjoyed cooking.
Now, she is combining two things she loves--experiments in the kitchen and watching K-dramas.

Yasmien has been watching the popular South Korean fantasy romance Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, starring singer-actress Im Yoo-na and Lee Chae-min.
It tells the story of a French cuisine chef who travels back in time and finds herself in the Joseon Dynasty.
She then uses her cooking know-how to survive tricky situations, hoping to get back home.
Yasmien was inspired to try making the simple savory pancake or pajeon which was featured in the seventh episode of the series.
She has her husband, Rey Soldevilla, try it and decided that it is the perfect match for soju.
"ATM Thank you Lord at gumawa ka ng mga poging lalaki sa mundo… ok nako nainspire ako gumawa ng #DongnaePajeon ng dahil kay Pangga at kay #LeeChaeMin Char lang! Kampai! #Pulutan," Yasmien wrote on Instagram.
Yasmien also made her own version of the mouth-watering mixed rice dish called bibimbap which was featured in the first episode of the show.
She swapped out a few ingredients and tweaked a few steps but was still very satisfied by the result.
"K-drama addict in the kitchen arc First time making bibimbap Ang dali lang pala?! Got the inspo syempre hehe from Bon Appétit, your majesty Swapped sesame oil for butter tulad ng ginawa ng lead actress, and wow… main character energy levels! ," she said.
Meanwhile, Bon Appétit, Your Majesty lead star Lee Chae-min is set to have a fan meeting in the Philippines next month.
Called "Chaem-into You," it is set to take place on November 23 at the New Frontier Theater.
