Influencer mom Yasmine Vargas is back in the saddle as her kids' tutor after two years, and she recently had a pleasant realization on how her children perceive her.
In an Instagram post, Yasmine, who's the wife of actor-politician Alfred Vargas, shared that she's back to tutoring her children since she's no longer breastfeeding her youngest, Cristiano.
“After two years, I'm back as my kids' tutor,” Yasmine said in her caption. “Now that I'm not breastfeeding anymore and Cristiano is more autonomous, I have more energy and time to help them with their homework and projects.”
The mom of three then revealed that she initially feared that her children would be unhappy about her being their tutor again, as she has the tendency of being “super strict.”
However, Yasmine was surprised when she heard what her daughter Ary said in her prayer.
“Share ko lang sinabi ni Ary tonight (every night kasi after dinner we share what we are grateful for). [She said] 'I am grateful that Mommy is OC because she helps me make my schoolwork perfect.'”
Yasmien said that she felt relieved that her kids actually appreciate her as their tutor despite being a “monster mommy.”
“Buti na lang kahit madalas 'monster mommy' ako 'pag dating sa school/homework at kahit ilang beses ko ipaulit sa kanila hanggang ma-perfect nila homework nila (kahit calligraphy), alam ko na ngayon na na-a-appreciate nila at alam nila strict ako kasi gusto ko lang ang makakabuti sa kanila.”
