Yasmine Vargas on Cristiano studying in Ateneo: “I was hesitant at first to transfer him to a new (big) school.”

The family of Alfred Vargas and Yasmine Espiritu-Vargas is ecstatic about their son Cristiano's moving-up ceremony.

Cristiano is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Vargas. They have three other daughters, namely Alexandra Milan, Aryana Cassandra, and Aurora Sofia, who was born in December 2023.

Yasmine shared some highlights of the moving-up day of her lovely son and recalled her conversation with Alfred when they decided to enroll Cristiano in Ateneo.

“Wow, what a journey it has been!

“Yesterday marked the last day of kindergarten for Cristiano. And I can hardly believe how fast time has flown.

“I still remember when Alfred told me, 'Make sure you enroll him in Ateneo!”

She then admitted, “I was hesitant at first to transfer him to a new (big) school. It felt like too big a step for both of us especially since it's further away than his old one. Those daily walks going to his old school were some of my favorite moments.

“But looking back, I'm so grateful for that decision. He has grown so much physically, mentally and spiritually.

“He learned how to read and made so many wonderful friends along the way! Most importantly, he grew closer to God.

“I am grateful for Teacher Carrie and the entire CPR, CPOs team as well as our section Kalimabahin family who have supported us throughout this adventure.”
