BLACKPINK's Rosé is embroiled in drug allegations after a photo of her in LA sparks suspicions online, here's what YG Entertainment has to say:

BLACKPINK member Rosé Park is facing several rumors after a group photo which includer her, surfaced online.

On April 11, Riccardo Tisci, luxury brand Burberry's former chief creative officer, shared photos from what appears to be fashion designer and entrepreneur Eva Chow's Los Angeles mansion.

Among the guests in the photo were Rosé and actor Kang Dong-won. Netizens speculated Rosé and Kang Dong-won might be dating, however, this hasn't been confirmed.

Allegations of drug use were also brought up by netizens, when claims of what looked like white powder was spotted on the table in Eva's house.

Riccardo took down the photos after comments regarding Rosé started circulating.

Fans found proof that the rumors are false, and one BLACKPINK fan account even shared an email sent toYG Entertainment, suggesting legal action for defamation against Rosé.

On April 13, YG Entertainment responded to the allegations with an official statement shared by news portal Naver News, translated by Koreaboo, clarifying that the rumors that had been spreading on social media are false. In the statement, the company revealed its take on the rumors and their label's response, saying they will take legal action against the perpetrators of the false news.

"We are pursuing legal action against those that violate our artists' rights and privacy. We are currently monitoring and watching those who created and are spreading rumors. We will not settle and will respond strongly."

BLACKPINK was previously in the Philippines back on March 25 and 26 at The Philippine Arena for their Born Pink World Tour concert.

Days after the sold-out concert, Rosé shared a message on Instagram for Filipino BLINKS, telling fans "miss you already."

Currently, BLACKPINK is preparing for their performance in the U.S. as they are slated to be among the main headliners of Coachella 2023 in California.

The K-pop group is performing on the music festival's weekend stages, April 15 and 22.

They previously performed in Coachella in 2019, which was also their first time at the festival.

In a recent interview from Billboard, Rosé reflected on their 2019 Coachella experience. “I think performing for Coachella in 2019 was a moment that really woke us up as BLACKPINK--to be motivated, to dream on and dream big. But we never expected anything as big as being the headliner of a festival we've all grown up admiring and hoping someday we could find ourselves in the crowd of.”
