The newly crowned Miss Philippines Earth 2023 got the three Bs - beauty, brains, and body.
Yllana Marie Aduana of Siniloan, Laguna has been hailed as Miss Philippines Earth 2023 after she bested 28 other candidates from all over the country.
She was crowned by Miss Philippines Earth 2022 Jenny Ramp in the coronation night which was held at the Toledo City Sports Center in Cebu on Saturday, April 29.
During the Q&A portion, Yllana won the hearts of the judges and viewers after confidently answering the question: "What do you think people in the future would say about your generation?"
Her winning answer was "I would definitely say that our generation, although misconstrued as very ardent, I would have to say that we use our voices for a reason and that is to always speak up for the things that we know are right and for the things that we know we deserve. That is why we are very ardent about it. That is why I'm also conducting colloquiums on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their interconnectedness to nature in hopes to precipitate people's eco-consciousness because our future is the linebackers and the pioneers of environmental amelioration, and we should always take advantage of it at all costs."
Meanwhile, Kerri Reilly from Pangasinan was named Miss Philippines Air 2023, Jemimah Joy Zabala from Palawan was hailed Miss Philippines Water 2023, and Sha'uri Livori, the representative of the Filipino community in Melbourne snatched Miss Philippines Fire 2023.
