Ynna Asistio gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Ava. Read the details below.
Actress Ynna Asistio is now a mom to a healthy, baby girl.
Ynna and her husband Bully Carbonell broke the news on November 3, more than a week after their daughter, Ava Zafina Asistio-Carbonell was born (October 26) through normal delivery.
In an Instagram post, Ynna revealed that she was confined due to pre-term labor and was on strict 2-week bed rest before her water broke on October 25. The next day, at 3:03 a.m., her baby was born.
“Ngayon ko lang naiintindihan yung sinasabi nila na grabe and experience of giving birth life changing and it made me realize how amazing it is to be a mother all the pain and contractions and IE was all worth it,” she said.
Ynna added, “First time I saw you, baby, nawala lahat ng pain. You came so early pero ang perfect ng timing mo!”
On August 10, Ynna revealed her pregnancy, a couple of days after she married Bully. She said that her pregnancy was a blessing because she was battling PCOS or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, a condition that causes women not to ovulate or have cysts in their ovaries, preventing them from getting pregnant.
She admitted that she already lost hope as the condition would heal but kept coming back. Ynna made the announcement once she was sure that they were having a baby. She posted a few pictures of her maternity shoot and prayed to have the strength to deliver when the time comes.
She thanked everyone. Including her doctor, Lizette Isip, for helping her throughout her pregnancy. She also thanked her family, friends, and fans for their prayers.
Ynna also revealed that her baby was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for a week but that they were finally home.
“Thank you also to my husband for taking care of me @bullyxcarbonellx [two heart emojis] til this day, I can't believe na nanay na ako!!! Pero grabeng saya ng feeling salamat sa inyong lahat!” she said.
She also gave thanks to the Lord “for this wonderful blessing.”
Celebrity friends Carla Abellana, Jackie Forster, Jessa Zaragoza, Isa Calzado, Arlene Muhlach, among others, congratulated the couple on the new addition to their family.
