Sparkle finally revealed the eight Kapuso superstars that viewers should watch for this 2022. Among these stars is Kapuso actress Ysabel Ortega.
In a press interview, Ysabel shared how grateful she is to be part of Sparkle's "next brightest stars."
"I'm so grateful. I know that this is a really big opportunity to be part of Sparkle. I'm always so grateful to GMA. It's motivating me to work harder especially for this coming year," she said.
This year, Ysabel is preparing for the highly-anticipated series in GMA Network, Voltes V: Legacy. She will play the role of Jamie Robinson, who is very knowledgeable when it comes to martial arts and is skilled in fighting combat.
The live-action adaptation series is her first major role after signing with the Kapuso network in 2019. According to Ysabel, she trained nonstop for the whole year of 2020 for this role.
"We've been working really hard for Voltes V: Legacy. Patuloy pa rin kaming magsu-shoot for that. I'm really excited to start working and working hard. I'm really going to do my best," Ysabel added.
