At 23, Ysabel Ortega put her showbiz earnings to good use as she invests in home renovation.
In her May 27 post on Instagram, the Ilocos-born actress gave her followers a sneak peek of the remodeling of their old house in Quezon City. She showed the staircase and an open area that looks like a balcony of their house that they are refurbishing.
Ysabel made a timely decision to renovate their Manila home and give it a new look as she would be staying in the city more now that she is working on a new series What We Could Be.
"Almost there," Ysabel simply wrote in the caption along with house and white heart emojis.
Ysabel's followers, including her The Gift co-star Thia Thomalla, congratulated her for her new achievement.
Ysabel is the daughter of action star-turned-politician Lito Lapid and former actress Michelle Ortega.
Ysabel began her showbiz career at the age of 16, playing minor roles on TV.
In 2019, she officially became a Kapuso after signing a contract with GMA Artist Center, now known as Sparkle.
Since then, Ysabel starred in various GMA shows like primetime series The Gift, top billed by Alden Richards.
In early 2021, she was revealed to play the coveted role of Jamie Robinson in the upcoming GMA live-action anime adaptation of Voltes V titled Voltes V: Legacy.
Before Voltes V: Legacy premieres, she and Miguel Tanfelix are set to headline new Kapuso series What We Could Be, a light drama co-produced by Quantum Films.
