Singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo is proud of how far his 'The Voice Kids' mentee Sofia Mallares has come in the competition.
Zack Tabudlo expressed his pride in his The Voice Kids mentee, Sofia Mallares, after selecting her to advance to the grand finals of the competition.
"She has more to offer for the next round, at least. She has the uniqueness, she has the vocal na sure akong makakalaban yung Project Z," the singer-songwriter said.
Sofia, dubbed "Kween Birit ng Pasig," has been under Zack's guidance throughout the show. His connection with her and belief in her talent has been evident from their time together on the show.
In an interview with 24 Oras, Zack shared his excitement and admiration for Sofia's growth as a performer, saying he's incredibly proud of how far she's come.
He said, "Kami ni Sofia po sobrang excited and kinakabahan kasi first time namin parehong sasabak sa finals. Ako, before po kasi no'ng nag-The Voice po ako no'n, 'di ako nakaabot ng finals, hanggang battles lang ako. Ibang experience po kaya very excited kami pareho."
Sofia's journey to the grand finals is not only a testament to her immense talent but also to the bond she shares with her coach who has consistently praised her efforts, and the way she approaches each performance with heart and soul.
As Sofia prepares for the grand finale, her supporters are eagerly awaiting to see if she will take home the coveted title of The Voice Kids Philippines grand winner.
Regardless of the outcome, however, it's clear that Sofia has already made a mark on the music scene, with Coach Zack being one of her biggest fans and supporters.
Sofia will go against BenKada's Giani Sarita, Team Bilib's Yana Goopio, and Julesquad's Marian Ansay in the grand finals of The Voice Kids happening this Sunday, December 14.
Winner of The Voice Kids will be determined via online voting.
