Maria Letizia, the eldest child of Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, just achieved a new milestone for her notable talent in performing.
The celebrity kid was named Breakthrough Child Performer of the Year at the 37th Aliw Awards. As seen on Facebook, Balota star Marian Rivera shared a video of her daughter on stage as she delivered her acceptance speech.
“Congratulations Mahal ko. Proud na proud kami sayo!” she wrote in her post.
In the video, Zia thanked the award-giving award for the recognition and also expressed her gratitude to her teacher, Jade Riccio, for encouraging her to reach her dreams.
“Thank you for the Aliw Awards for giving me this wonderful award and, especially, thank you to Teacher Jade for always telling me never to give up and always achieve my dreams,” she said.
Zia also thanked her family for their unending love and support for her.
In early December, Zia had her first stage performance at the “Be Our Guest” concert, singing a beautiful rendition of Andra Day's “Rise Up.”
Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, who tied the knot in December 2014, welcomed Zia in November 2015. The power couple also has a son named Jose Sixto Dantes IV.
