Epy Quizon ended his participation in Voltes V: Legacy after his character Zuhl died, as seen on the Wednesday, July 26, episode of the action-packed drama series.
In the episode, Zardoz (Martin Del Rosario) killed Zuhl after the latter failed in his mission: to attack the Camp Big Falcon.
This was after Zuhl arrived at Camp Big Falcon in chains, where the Voltes V team confronted him. Surprisingly, Zuhl pleaded for their friendship and asked for help. Dr. Hook (Neil Ryan Sese) assured the team that Zuhl is secured. Zuhl introduced himself as a Boazanian general. He claimed that Prince Zardoz is the real enemy and promised to reveal the location of the Boazanian camp where Ned (Dennis Trillo) is held hostage as a trap.
As the Voltes V team arrived in a secluded place through a portal, Voltes V team found themselves surrounded by an army of Boazanian soldiers, with Zardoz leading the confrontation.
Steve (Miguel Tanfelix) pleaded with Zardoz to spare Little Jon for he is a child which Zardoz accepted, allowing Little Jon to go back and enter the portal. However, Steve secretly ordered his youngest brother to hack the system that controls the portal so they can escape.
Meanwhile, Zuhl was unsuccessful in attacking the CBF after Dr. Hook discovered that the Boazanian set a bomb inside his detention room in the camp.
Zuhl felt anxious after Boazanian soldiers suddenly appeared to fetch him, learning that Zardoz was extremely angry about what happened.
As Zardoz discovered that Zuhl failed to destroy the CBF, he gave Zuhl a choice: to die in his own hands after giving him a sword.
But Zuhl attempted to attack Zardoz from the back but the prince fought back, stabbing him with a sword through his chest.
Zardoz wielded another sword that pierced through Zuhl's body that left him bleeding.
