Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo jokes, "Ay, ang swerte po ni Senator Bong!"
Rabiya Mateo is making her television debut with her first regular character role in a drama.
The actress is joining the cast of Agimat ng Agila Season 2 as Agent Asha Raj, a Filipina-Indian interpol agent.
The show's cast recently had a Facebook Live, where Rabiya was asked how she feels about working with the likes of Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. and Sanya Lopez.
Rabiya said candidly, "Ay, ang swerte po ni Senator Bong."
On a more serious note, Rabiya added, "Hindi po, swerte po kami ni Sanya. Sobrang blessed po namin. Actually, once lang kami [Sanya] nagkasama and hindi kami magka-eksena. But I've heard a lot of good things about her and, hopefully, in the coming days, magkateleserye kami."
Rabiya has trained intensely for her upcoming action role despite gaining wounds from physical training. "If there's pain, there's power," the beauty queen-turned-actress said.
