In Agimat ng Agila's episode nine, Jumong takes Sharmaine home. He apologizes that she got involved with Garote. Sharmaine tells him that it's ok. She is as much worried about him as Nanay Berta is, and it's a new experience for her to be involved in something like that. But what's important is that both of them are safe. She advises Jumong to tell Nanay Berta everything because Garote might come back and hurt him this time.

Gabriel and Art arrive at Nanay Berta's house and are surprised to see Wes there. They learn that Wes' assignment has been finished early and requested to go back. He asks Gabriel what has happened since he was gone. Art gleefully tells Wes everything! Even the littlest detail of all the adventures he and Gabriel have gone through. But out of all the stories, what got Wes interested is the ones with Agent Asha and he asked Gabriel if she can be trusted. Gabriel nods at him, at which time Jumong comes home and tells Nanay Berta that Garote now has the Talisman of the Dragon.

As Jumong recounts to Nanay Berta and the rest of what happened to her and Sharmaine, Nanay Berta reveals that Gabriel is the famed mythical Agila. The one Jumong's father asked him to find. Gabriel tells Jumong he will stop at nothing until Garote has been brought to justice. For that, they will need Agent Asha's help.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony within Task Force Kalikasan, Gabriel, Art, and Wes show MGen.Villanueva missing pieces of evidence they got from the hotel operation that might point to the whereabouts of their suspected syndicate leader. But then, all they have to go with is the plate number of the vehicle spotted in the evidence. Zeus was a guest at the ribbon-cutting and Gabriel is very suspicious of him.

Gabriel and his team managed to track down the vehicle in the CCTV footage and it led them to one of the buildings operated by ZL Gold.

Gabriel couldn't help himself and goes to the building to see if they can find the vehicle there. But he was met by security since he didn't have any scheduled appointments with anyone within the building.

As Gabriel tries to get in, in the lobby is Steven Chua, the lawyer of Silver Gate Mining and he is with Gerry Flores, a former Task Force member gone bad. Gabriel and Steven Chua exchanged some harsh words and it created a very tense atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Art again meets Mikaela and gets introduced to Wes who cannot deal with the fact that the girl is so infatuated with Art.
