Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat

Kapuso heartthrobs Dave Bornea and Manolo Pedrosa are both thankful for the opportunity to be part of the Afternoon Prime series 'Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat.' Find out how they handle the pressure that comes with being groomed as the future stars of GMA-7, HERE:

GMA Artist Center heartthrobs Dave Bornea and Manolo Pedrosa will be showcasing their acting prowess in the newest Afternoon drama series Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat, which will premiere on February 22.

The soap will also be the first leading role of promising actress Pauline Mendoza.

Dave and Manolo have the looks and charisma to be the next leading men of GMA-7. We couldn't help but ask the two talented actors how they have been dealing with the pressure that comes with being groomed by their home network to be the next big stars.

Dave Bornea admitted to GMANetwork.com that he does feel the pressure, but what matters most is how he handles it.

He explained, “For me sobrang grateful po ako kasi 'yun nga I was given the chance na mabigyan ng ganitong role at nilagay sa ganitong spot.

“May pressure po, hindi naman po maiiwasan yan, at the same time may kaba din, pero para sa akin it's up to me kung paano ko siya dadalhin or gagampanan.

“Sobrang honored din po ako na binigyan po ako ng ganitong role po.”

Chinito heartthrob Manolo Pedrosa, seconded what Dave said and revealed that he wants to turn the pressure into an energy to fuel him even more.

“Same po with Dave, hindi po mawawala 'yung pressure but then it's part of it, it's part of the job.

“Kahit ano'ng job naman siguro there's pressure, so ako naman I used it.

“I used that pressure as energy and same with Dave, I'm very grateful, I'm very honored to have this path, as having a passion for acting, ako I'm just very grateful to have a role.

“It doesn't have to be a leading man material, basta I'm in front of the camera, I'm able to deliver my craft, I'm able to act in front of the camera. I'm able to entertain people, I mean that's already beautiful.”

Amazing performance of Pauline

The two also have kind words to say about their muse on Babawiin Ko Ang Lahat--Pauline, who will play Iris Salvador.

Manolo said in a previous interview that Pauline really delivered in terms of her acting and her drama scenes were all impressive.

Manolo recalled, “It's just a pleasure to work with Pauline kasi sobrang galing niya, because there are times in Unit 2, kasi there's only one cam, we have to take different angles and most of her scenes are crying. So, she has to repeat that same scene over-and-over again to create the same effect.

“And that's really hard as actor, so much props to Pauleen and for me as an actor, ang sarap ng trabaho ko, kasi I just have to react to Pauline and it's there.

“I already feel it, so big pleasure to work with Pauline.”

Dave Borneo also lauded Pauline Mendoza for her professionalism, making the whole lock-in taping experience last year comfortable, even if they were away from their families.

“Si Pauline naman po, napaka-solid as in. Noong una medyo nangangapa pa of course, pero itong lock-in taping, ito talaga 'yung nagpa-buo sa amin, as in kumportable kami sa isa't-isa.

“Mas lalo noong tuluy-tuloy na 'yung mga taping, wala naman po problema kay Pauline napaka-professional, napaka-gaan kasama,”
