Before the community quarantine was imposed in the country, Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara had a chance to work with Nora Aunor in Bilangin ang Bituin sa Langit.

The TV adaptation of the hit 80s movie already aired 21 episodes before the production was suspended because of the government-imposed community quarantine.

“Si Ms. Nora kasi, ma-ge-gets mo kung bakit maraming nagmamahal sa kanya until now at maraming rumerespeto sa kanya until now because, walang halong showbiz, sobrang bait niya,” Kyline revealed to select members of the press in a virtual interview.

“And may time rin talaga na nakikipagbiruan siya, sumasabay siya sa aming mga bata, so isa 'yun sa mga na-appreciate ko kay Ms Nora.

“Doon ko rin talaga na-re-realize na, 'Oh my gosh. Kaya siya Superstar kasi ganito siya, kasi pagdating sa set, ayun na talaga siya, ready na siya.'

“Iba siya, iba siya pag nasa set siya at iba rin siya kapag-off cam, 'pag nasa tent kami.

“Sobrang saya niyang kasama, kalog din at some point.”

Even though Kyline is already comfortable working with the Superstar, who portrayed her character, Maggie, in the film, she revealed that she still wants to feel intimidated by Nora.

She said, “I want to keep that emotion sa akin para galingan ko. Ayoko maging komportable kay Ms. Nora.

“Kasi parang, pag naging komportable ka na, 'Okay, aarte lang ako.'

“Gusto ko maramdaman 'yung emosyon na 'yon, and feeling ko hindi naman siya maalis kasi everytime na titingin ako sa kanya, parang, 'Oh my gosh, kasama ko 'yung superstar, idol to ng aking mga grandparent.”
