After a brief hiatus, Kim Ji Soo is happy to be able to meet his fans again through 'Black Rider.'
Popular K-drama actor Kim Ji Soo is making his Philippine television debut in the top rating full action series Black Rider.
He will be playing Adrian Park, a hired assassin who will act as a self-defense coach for the president's daughter.
"Hello my dear fans, it's been a long time. It's good to see you again. I hope to see all of you soon," he says.
His special participation in the series also marks his return to acting after a brief hiatus.
"I think when I have a tough time, my family and loyal friends are always supporting me. I think they really give me a lot of energy to keep going," Ji Soo shared.
The actor also revealed that he has been studying the English language and has even picked up a few Tagalog words.
"Now, I'm learning English because actually I love to watch documentaries like animals, forests, nature. I also learned a few basic Tagalog words like 'kumusta po kayo,' 'salamat po,' 'masarap,' 'mag-ingat ka,'" he explained.
In Black Rider, sparks will fly between his character Adrian and the presidential daughter Vanessa, played by Yassi Pressman.
In real life, would Ji Soo be open to having a relationship with a non-Korean?
"Actually yes. To be honest, I did a long time ago so actually it's not a big deal for me if they are from another county," he revealed.
He also shared the qualities he looks for in a partner.
"My ideal girl? I would say my ideal type is someone who has a bright and positive personality," Ji Soo said.
"I think someone who always thinks negatively is kind of a red flag for me," he added.
