Popular K-drama actor Kim Ji Soo in enjoying his time as one of the guest stars of the top rating full action series Black Rider.

He rose to fame in South Korea as a dramatic actor and a romantic lead but has always dreamed of trying his had at the action genre.

"I wanted to do something like action stuff. Finally, I got here for the action and gunshots with a great team. It's really exciting," he said of his experience in Black Rider.

Ji Soo also added that his love of action was party inspired by an award-winning Filipino film.

"Actually I watched [the] movie On the Job by Erik Matti [in] 2013, when I was young. I [was] always dreaming [of doing something] like that movie. A real one, a real good one," he shared.

On the Job is a neo-noir crime thriller film will tells the story of inmates who are temporarily but frequently let out of prison to commit contract killings for corrupt policemen and politicians.

It was a critical and box-office hit and was even screened in several international film festivals including Cannes Film Festival in 2013.

Meanwhile, Kim Ji Soo plays the hired assassin Adrian Park who is tasked to protect and train the first daughter in self-defense in the upcoming episodes of the 2024 New York Festivals bronze medalist and 2024 Gandingan Awards Most Development-oriented Drama Program, Black Rider.
