Michael V. on newbie Cheska: “Very inquisitive at saka ang professional ng approach niya e.”
Zamboangueña beauty and Sparkada member Cheska Fausto is one of the newest additions in the multi-talented Kababol barkada!
Cheska will join award-winning comedian Michael V., Paolo Contis, Chariz Solomon, Analyn Barro, Betong Sumaya, and Kokoy de Santos. Together with new cast members EA Guzman and Buboy Villar in the flagship gag show Bubble Gang (BBLGANG) , which will be airing on Sunday Primetime beginning July 9.
In an exclusive chat with the Bubble Gang pioneer last June 26, Direk Bitoy mentioned that he sees a lot of potential with Cheska, whom he considers a “good actor.”
The Kapuso comedian explained, “Si Cheska, nakasama ko yan sa Pepito Manaloto, she is a very good actor.
“Very inquisitive at saka ang professional ng approach niya e. Inaalam talaga niya 'yung takbo ng script before she even does something about it. Kasi, iba 'yung may knowledge ka about sa script.”
Michael V. added, “Ang wish ko sana natutunan niya 'yun sa guesting niya sa Pepito Manaloto, kahit gaano kaiksi 'yun. Sana may na-instill sa kaniya and never too late naman, kasi especially with Bubble Gang. Pagkamatagal ka na kasama dito e, marami ka naman matutunan.”
Meanwhile, Cheska told GMANetwork.com that she auditioned to become part of the Kababol barkada and during the screening, she did a scene with versatile actor Paolo.
The Sparkle actress recalled, “Actually, sinasabi sa akin 'yun on the day ng audition. So, parang nagulat din ako. Pero masaya ako at the same time kasi, isa ang Bubble Gang sa mga shows na talagang gusto ko makapag-participate kahit guesting lang naman.
“Kinabahan ako nung una, kasi ang haba nung mga script sa audition. Tapos naka-eksena ko pa sa audition si Sir Paolo Contis. So, siyempre 'di ba Sir Paolo Contis!
“Pero nung pagkapasok ko mismo nung audition room, hindi ko lang alam, pero sobrang gaan lang nung vibe. Ang saya lang, kaya siguro naipakita ko 'yun sa mismong performance ko na I'm just going with the flow. I'm happy, I'm excited so it showed.”
Cheska added that getting the call that she was officially part of the Bubble Gang family came as a surprise since there were others who auditioned who were really good, too.
“Hindi ka makapaniwala, kasi nung nag-audition naman ako for Bubble Gang, alam mo 'yun gustong-gusto ko siya, pero alam ko na marami rin magagaling talaga sa audition.
“Kaya, wala hindi ko in-expect kaya sobrang grateful ako and blessed na naging parte ako, kasi alam ko na aalagaan nila ako at parte rin 'yun sa akin na gusto ko magdala ng saya sa mga tao. At 'yun naman 'yung pinaka-essence rin ng Bubble Gang is para patawanin 'yung mga tao. Pasayahin sila.”
