Dave Valenzuela in Centerstage

Dave Valenzuela charms 'Centerstage' judges: 'Cuteness overload!'

Lucena City's Dave Valenzuela made Centerstage judges melt as he was so adorable in his Centerstage debut on Sunday, March 8.

Aside from the fact that he's too cute to ignore, the seven-year-old has also wonderfully sung his rendition of Rivermaya's hit “Himala.”

“Cuteness overload! It really is himala. Ang galing mo!,” judge Pops Fernandez exclaimed after Dave's performance.

“We see your heart while you sing, and that's very, very good. Thank you so much,” said Aicelle Santos, who also expressed her admiration for the young singer.

Judge Mel Villena, who was seen smiling throughout Dave's number, said that the little boy's performance left him speechless.

Although he failed to advance to the final round to compete with the Defending Bida, Rain Barquin, Dave was still proud and happy of he's accomplishment.

Also, Dave related that his Centerstage stint was all for his mom.

“I joined 'Centerstage' because I want my mom to be proud of me,” he said.

Hosted by Asia's Multimedia star Alden Richards and comedian Betong Sumaya, Centerstage airs every Sunday, 7:40 p.m. on GMA Primetime.
