'Daddy's Gurl,' which was launched in October 2018, aired its final episode last May 6.
Maine Mendoza bids farewell to her Daddy's Gurl character as the sitcom aired its finale episode yesterday, May 6.
In the comedy program, the phenomenal star played Visitacion “Stacy” Otogan, the loving daughter of Barak Otogan, played by Vic Sotto.
Daddy's Gurl follows the life of Barak, a conservative Batangueño dad and his only daughter Stacy, a trendsetter slash influencer slash digital maven.
In her Facebook post yesterday, Maine posted photos from the fun set of Daddy's Gurl to mark its finale after more than four years of bringing laughs to its viewers.
She said, "The Otogans are signing off. Thank you, Bossing. Thank you, DG fam. Grateful for many things. Thank You."
Maine then promoted the new sitcom, Open 24/7 which also stars Bossing.
"Catch our finale episode tonight at 9:15pm and watch out for Open 24/7 coming real soon,”she said.
"Maraming salamat sa apat na taon, mga Kapuso! Your daddy's gurl, Stacy O."
Meanwhile, Daddy's Gurl will have a replay of its previous episodes on May 13 and 20.
