Sparkle singer-heartthrob Yasser Marta is the special guest in the upcoming episode of 'Daddy's Gurl.'
Kapuso heartthrob Yasser Marta was massively impressed with his scenes with the Phenomenal star Maine Mendoza in the high-rating sitcom Daddy's Gurl.
Yasser will be the guest celebrity in a series of episodes and he shared his thoughts working with Maine in the award-winning comedy show.
In his exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com on Friday (January 7), the actor stated that he witnessed first-hand that the Daddy's Gurl lead actress has a “natural gift,” when it comes to doing comedy.
He explained, “Wala pa ako sa Sparkle, sa GMA, nag-Spogify na ako, so isa ako sa mga finalist ng Spogify nakikita ko na rin si Maine doon na nagho-host and [napanood] ko rin siya as Yaya Dub.”
“First-time ko siya makasama sa isang set, makasama sa isang acting job talaga. Sobra ako na-amaze kay Maine, dahil sa galing niya and hindi biro 'yung ganun klaseng trabaho na akala natin 'pag napapanood natin na madali lang.”
Yasser continued, “Pero, pagdating sa kanya ang effortless niya gawin'yung mga ganun klaseng eksena at pagpapatawa. For me parang gift 'yun, para sa kanya. Ang galing niya magpatawa, napaka-charming din niya. Hindi lang siya basta nakakatawa, lalambot 'yung puso mo sa pagpapatawa niya, dahil napakagaling niya.”
Yasser Marta also expressed his gratitude to Direk Chris Martinez and the whole creative team of Daddy's Gurl for making the whole taping experience hassle-free.
He shared, “Bago naman kami mag-taping nagkakaroon kami ng series of Zoom meeting, doon may mga question sila sa akin. Tinatanong nila ko kung ano'ng gusto ko gawin, kung ano bagay sa akin and kung sino talaga ako. So, mas napadali sa akin, kasi hindi ko na kailangang aralin kung ano 'yung character na gusto niya gawin- ako, ginawa ko na lang kung sino talaga ako.”
“Kaya yun 'yung plano nila direk at nung mga writers [kaya] mas napadali 'yung trabaho at naging natural na lang din and ang laking tulong din ni Maine para sa akin dito sa Daddy's Gurl.” Yasser added.
