Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay will light up the TV screens in the two-part Christmas-themed episode of 'Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko' starting Dec. 4.

GMA Network's award-winning weekly anthology Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko continues to spread love, kindness, and holiday cheer via its fresh Christmas episodes beginning this Sunday, December 4.

The two-part special titled "Carol Parol" is headlined by Sparkle sweethearts Sofia Pablo as Carol and Allen Ansay as Aaron, also known to their fans as Team Jolly.

Joining them in the feel-good episodes are Sparkada members Michael Sager as Grant, Vince Maristela as Santi, Raheel Bhyria as Tom, and Sean Lucas as Iggy together with Sparkle star Julia Pascual as Holly. Completing the cast is the special participation of Neil Ryan Sese as Frank.

"Carol Parol" follows the story of childhood best friends Aaron, Santi, Tom, Iggy, and Grant. They help Aaron's dad, Frank, in making lanterns or parol during the Christmas season.

At the said workshop hangs a special parol that the boys made together when they were young. Unbeknown to them, the lantern comes to life. She is Carol who watches over the boys like a guardian angel.

Meanwhile, Aaron and Santi like the same girl, Holly. They made a pact that neither of them will make a move on Holly to avoid ruining their friendship. However, problems arise when Holly makes the first move on Aaron.

Santi takes this as a betrayal, causing a rift between him and Aaron. The rest of the squad gets involved in the mess as well. When Carol sees their situation, she takes it upon herself to make the boys reconcile.

Will Carol be able to fix their friendship? Will Aaron choose his crush over his best friends? Is there still a chance for the squad to have a Merry Christmas just like in the old times?
