Daldalita (Jillian Ward) begins with the married couple Mateo (Ogie Alcasid) and Carmela (Donna Cruz) living a simple life in the province. Their happy marriage hits a rough patch when Carmela dies after giving birth to their daughter Lolita (Jillian Ward).
