In November 14, 2020's Bawal Judgmental segment on Eat Bulaga, Maine Mendoza was asked by the hosts about her shot to fame through her viral Dubsmash videos.
She said, "Ayun, masaya.
Maine said she originally kept her Dubsmash account private, but after her friends found her videos hilarious, Maine decided to share her funny dubbed videos with the public.
When asked about moments her fame became a source of online hatred, Maine admitted that she was also a target of bashing online. Parehong good and bad. Alam ng lahat 'yun," she concluded.
