Filipino-British soccer player Mathew Custodio was one of the choices in 'Bawal Judgmental' this Saturday afternoon in 'Eat Bulaga.'
Philippines national football player Mathew Custodio doesn't believe in the rumors about a certain curse associated with the crown his girlfriend Celeste Cortesi wears as Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
During the Bawal Judgmental segment of Eat Bulaga on Saturday, May 14, Sparkle actress Gabbi Garcia asked Mathew, “Kasi 'di ba mayroong sumpa. 'Yung mga Miss Universe nagbe-break [naghihiwalay sa boyfriend]. Do you have a comment about that?”
The Filipino-Birtish soccer player immediately replied, “Madami nagko-comment, pero madami rin nagsu-support sa amin. Parang sirain n'yo 'yung sumpa ganun.”
Mathew then continued, “Pero ang sinasabi ko sa kanila, kasi 'yung korona bago na. It's a new crown, this year was the first year that they brought the crown in. Sigurado wala na 'yung sumpa, 'yung sumpa hindi na kami magbe-break. 'Yun 'yung bagong sumpa.”
What's more, Mathew shared how Celeste prepared for the grueling competition in the Miss Universe Philippines.
He recalled, “Grabe 'yun magtrabaho, sobrang tindi 'yun kapag naka-focus sa work niya. As in kahit 'yung mga trainers niya pagod, talagang pinu-push pa niya 'yung trainers para mag-training siya. Siya talaga naghahanap palagi.”
